About Me

Hello I´m Dan, a Web Developer / Designer from Cardiff. I have over three years commercial experience in the web design / development industry, the majority of which has been as a Software / Web Developer using the PHP programming Language and the latest open sources technologies such as Drupal, WordPress and jQuery.

I have a postgraduate degree in the field of computer science in which I obtained a merit classification and my undergraduate degree was in the field of Business Studies which has given me an insight into the business environment. I have a strong work ethic, always put 100% effort into my work and I am confident in my IT abilities.

I lived in Vancouver, Canada for one year where I was working as a Web Developer primarily using Drupal, WordPress and jQuery. When I wasn´t working I could regularly be found on the Ski Slopes of Whistler Blackcomb.

As you have probably guessed I am a keen skier and love exploring the Mountains and the Backcountry.

Before studying for my MSc I went backpacking around the World for one year. Visiting countries such as Japan, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, United States and Canada. I took part in a variety of activities such as Skydiving, Bungee jumping, Rafting, Hiking, Surfing. During my time traveling I met many people and experienced different cultures.
